Western BACE believe that digital skills and creativity are for everyone and that we should ensure that any young person in Australia, regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, racial and ethnic background, should have a high degree of digital literacy and are supported and encouraged to develop a broad base on STEM skills.
Using our STEM Career Taster and STEM Squad Program as a practical example, this presentation will discuss the themes of Bottom-up Community Driven Programs, How Long Term partnerships are required to make Long Term Impact, Continuing to Focus on the Why not just the KPI to make real long term impact that changes individual lives, Inclusion, Alternative Learning Pathways and Social Enterprise models.
