“How can I become an active citizen in my city?” short video, Open discussion on “Local Government and Active Citizenship”

The concept of active citizenship has emerged as particularly important in recent years. However it is equally important for the citizens to understand what active citizenship means and how it can be applied in everyday life. In a simple and understandable way the video attempts to inform and raise awareness among citizens and stakeholders about the concept of active citizenship by describing the basic principles and presenting examples that can be applied by everyone in the city. In the discussion that will follow, distinguished scientists from Greece and abroad will share their experience and considerations on the importance of active citizenship in the present and the future.
