Hope and Attachment Matters concentrates on John Bowlby’s Theory of Attachment and the importance of an early secure attachment style, forming an emotional bond with an other person.

“A securely attached child will store an internal working model of a responsive loving reliable caregiver, and of a self that is worth of love and attention and will bring these assumptions to bare on all other relationships”. (Holmes, 1993).

If a secure attachment style isn’t possible in a child’s life it can be changed throughout life using tools and skills within the “Hope” rational to help shape knowing what a good relationship feels like versus what an unhealthy relationship feels like therefore recognising that change is possible.

We are Resilio which is a voluntary organisation, our aims and objectives involve working on mental and emotional health and well being using the concept of “Hope” whilst sharing the importance of Attachment Process in Early Years.
