Covid-19 Stories of Hope and Resilience from Early Childhood Professionals in Australia

Wyndham City Council’s Family and Sector Partnerships Unit in Greater Melbourne VIC and ECTARC Early Childhood Education Services and Training in the Illawarra Shoalhaven NSW are co-facilitating this Early Childhood professional conversation to share COVID-19 stories of hope and resilience.
Hear about how professional practices were modified and adapted to support the children and families they work with in unprecedented circumstances. A number of Early Childhood Professionals from Greater Melbourne, the Illawarra-Shoalhaven Region and Sydney will share their experiences relating to the following questions:
- What is your role and the context of your Early Childhood service (location, demographic, etc)?
- Name one major challenge/opportunity you faced in service-delivery in the COVID-19 pandemic.
- What actions did you take to address the challenge/opportunity? – What was the outcome of this intervention?
- Upon reflection, what lesson/story of hope can you share from this experience?
